”In general, work takes meaning from life.”

Roland Paulsen has a PhD in sociology and is an author. The Wall Street Journal recently described him as "one of the world’s foremost experts on how people shirk on the job".

Here, Roland talks about the ever-decreasing need for human labour and how it affect humans and the society we live in. He poses the question why humans work so much with the answer that it's not because we want to guarantee our material survival but rather because we want to secure the survival of capitalism.
